The Maryland Association of Nursing Students is having an Information Session on Oct. 21 from 7 - 8 p.m. The Maryland Association of Nursing Students is a student-run state nursing student organization that brings together nursing students from all over Maryland enrolled in initial registered nurse licensure programs. The consultants and Dr. Marianne Eichenberger mentor students to prepare them for future leadership positions. Students are voted into positions on the MANS Board of Directors and will attend monthly meetings and host an annual state nursing student convention. The students are encouraged and provided the opportunity to participate in the mid-year and annual National Student Nurses Association Conventions, in Nurses Night in Annapolis with the Maryland Nurses Association and develop resolutions contributing to advances in nursing education.
