Webex has provided a new feature that allows Webex hosts/co-hosts to sync their stage to ensure attendees can see what the host/co-host would want them to focus on, such as the current active speaker.
When you use the Stack or Side by Side view, the active speaker(s)/shared content will appear in a customizable area called the stage. As the host or co-host, you can sync your stage with everyone in the meeting so they can only see your Customized Stage. You also have the ability to lock the attendee view to prevent attendees from changing tier view or customizing their stage. It will also hide the video thumbnails of participants so they can solely focus on the shared content or active speaker.
To sync your stage with everyone:
1. Set up your stage to your preferences.
2. Navigate to the top right-hand corner of the screen and click Layout, then choose Sync my stage for everyone.
a. If you would like to limit the attendees to view just the stage, you can also check Lock attendee view on stage only.
3. Click Sync.
a. You will notice an orange outline around your Webex window, which indicates you are actively syncing your stage.
4. To stop syncing, simply click Stop in the syncing indicator.
