American Sign Language Class Is Accepting Applications

American Sign Language (ASL) is the fourth-most commonly used language in the United States. Learn how to begin to think in signs while focusing on the functions of communication in everyday interactions.
UMB students, faculty, and staff are eligible to apply to participate in an eight-week class taught by the Hearing and Speech Agency. Class will begin Sept. 16 and meet weekly from noon to 1 p.m. at the SMC Campus Center. There is an $85 cost associated with the class.
