September 25: Nursing Educator Doctoral Grants
September 04, 2020Nominations are open for the Nursing Educator Doctoral Grants for Practice and Dissertation Research (NEDG) overseen by the Maryland Higher Education Commission. UMSON faculty enrolled in PhD, EdD or DNP programs who are within the final two years of a program of study -- engaged or about to engage in their dissertation or capstone project during the 2020-2021 academic year -- are eligible. The faculty member's doctoral studies may be part-time or full-time at either Maryland or out-of-state doctoral programs. Faculty who recently completed a doctoral degree as of May 1, 2019, are also eligible.
All nominations must be made by Dean Kirschling. Qualifying faculty should contact Deborah Prout at prout@umaryland.edu for further information on requirements and deadlines. All submittals will be made by September 30.
