hands raised to volunteer

Investigators at the University of Maryland, Baltimore's Maryland Psychiatric Research Center need healthy men and women, ages 18-64, with no mental illness, for research studies. We will compare data from healthy controls with data from people with mental illness to better understand the problems psychiatric patients have with memory, attention, and decision-making.

Studies involve paper and pencil tasks, computer tasks, and some involve EEG or MRI.

Participants make up to five study visits, each one to three hours long, and receive $15-$20 an hour for their time.

The studies take place at 55 Wade Ave., Catonsville 21228. Drs. James Gold and James Waltz are the Principal Investigators.
