Project Feast 2021

We are so excited to announce that Project Feast will be returning for our 31st annual in-person Thanksgiving meal for the Baltimore community.

As in previous years, Project Feast will be taking place on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, 2021, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Booker T. Washington Elementary School in Baltimore. This year, we are holding the event outside and preparing free to-go Thanksgiving meals for attendees.

In previous years, in addition to providing a meal, we have connected our guests with a variety of community resources and distributed donated clothing, blankets, toiletries, and pantry staples to meet their more immediate needs. At the last Project Feast in 2019, we served approximately 400 guests with the help of 175 volunteers!

Here’s how we could use your help:

Volunteer: Help spread the word about this event, bake turkeys before Thanksgiving, or volunteer serving the day of the event! If interested, please sign up via this Google Form (https://forms.gle/pafyfhx3zfdGuCjj9), or email us at projectfeastumb@gmail.com.

Donate: Gently used clothing, toys, nonperishable food items, and toiletries are needed. Be on the lookout for an email once donation boxes are set up around campus.

Sponsor: Direct donations for the cost of a turkey, meal, coat, or any amount are always welcome and appreciated! Gifts can be given via the donation page set up for this event: www.medschool.umaryland.edu/projectfeast
