About the Presenter: Wright has taught English composition, English as a Second Language (ESL), literature, and creative writing in community centers, public schools, and universities in Japan, China, Malaysia, and the United States. At UMB, he works with faculty, student, and staff writers studying, teaching, and working in health and human services and focuses his research on translingual pedagogy and curriculum development, graduate-level faculty development, reflective writing practice, global and community literacies, and the politics of multilinguality.
