Are you considring doctoral education? Wondering which program? When can you do it? How long will it take? Is there financial support?
An overview of both nursing and non-nursing doctoral programs in Maryland will be presented, and important issues to consider in choosing a program will be discussed.
This workshop will summarize the breadth of doctoral programs in Maryland; compare and contrast DNP and PhD degrees and programs; identify issues to consider in choosing a program, including financial support; and describe how to best position yourself for application to different programs.
Registration is offered at no cost thanks to funding from the Nurse Support Program II (NSP II 17-123), which in turn is funded by the Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission and administered by the Maryland Higher Education Commission.
