The Elm

The Reads for Peds organization is a medical student-run program dedicated to providing an educational gift to children who are receiving care during the holiday season at the University of Maryland Children's Hospital and affiliated hospitals. Since 2016, we have donated over 10,000 books to children being treated throughout the state of Maryland. Now on its sixth year, we need the support from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and University of Maryland Medical System community to surpass our goal of 3,000 books.
