CIPP 970: Social Justice and Our Community
This free 1-credit course links the experiential with the theoretical by providing a community-based experience in the communities of West Baltimore, working in collaboration with UMB’s Community Engagement Center.
Students spend 40 hours in experiential service and five hours in didactic learning about Baltimore. Groups of interprofessional students will collaborate in service-learning, as they address the expressed needs of our local neighbors while advocating for social justice.
