Patients with schizophrenia and healthy adults 18 to 45 without mental illness are invited to participate in a study involving an MRI scan to look at the brain’s use of energy and cognition. This research is being conducted by Dr. Christopher Marano from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

There are three study visits including an 80-minute MRI and blood draw. No positive drug test for cocaine, opioids, amphetamine.
