The Restorative Justice (RJ) facilitators invite you to participate in a small group discussion of your experiences of race and racism at UMSON. This 90-minute discussion will use circle practice to open a brave space for deep listening and understanding between and among faculty and staff to discuss and process our current national and local contexts as well as our organizational culture.

The RJ facilitators welcome discussion of emotions with this space of processing; our hope is to build understanding and strengthen our community as we strategize concrete steps to move forward and work for a more just world and workplace.

The first in a series of circles on this topic will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 11 from 2 - 3:30 p.m. Space will be limited in order to have a person-centered discussion. Please email Hannah Murphy Buc if you are interested in participating.
