Dr. Kizzmekia S. Corbett, scientific lead for the Coronavirus Vaccines & Immunopathogenesis Team at the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases

The Center for Vaccine Development and Global Health's 27th Annual Frontiers in Vaccinology guest lecture will be held Wednesday, Oct. 28.

The guest speaker will be Kizzmekia S. Corbett, PhD, senior research fellow and scientific lead, Coronavirus Vaccines and Immunopathogenesis Team, Viral Pathogenesis Laboratory, Vaccine Research Center, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. 

The topic is COVID-19 vaccine development, the pace of research, and how we can be prepared for a pandemic. The title of the lecture is “Plug and Play” — Rapid SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine Development Enabled by Pandemic Preparedness.
