This week is National Security Officer Appreciation Week. University of Maryland, Baltimore Police Department (UMBPD) security officers can be found in many UMB buildings, patrolling the sidewalks, and helping our community. Described as the "eyes and ears" of the department, the UMBPD has approximately 80 security officers who help keep our campus safe.
When you see our security officers, please be sure to stop and thank them for their hard work!
