Southwest Palooza (save the date): A Community Building Festival

Southwest Palooza is a community-building festival that celebrates the seven neighborhoods of the Southwest Partnership area, as stakeholders bond together over current projects, programs, and opportunities.

This event on June 29 at Greater Model Park (200 N. Schroeder St.) will run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and feature live music, food, games, and activities for all ages.

Join us for an array of community resources (workforce, educational, and civic program providers for residents) and homeownership opportunities for potential residents looking to use UMB’s Live Near Your Work Program or seeking a new home in the gem of Baltimore, historic communities built around the B&O for families, with direct access to the downtown entertainment districts and all major highways.

Come and hear announcements from local officials and learn how you can get involved in the community development projects for 2020. Win raffle prizes and giveaways, compete with family and friends in healthy sport activities, and take a historic carriage ride tour of West Baltimore Street, presented by UMBC American Studies and Hollins Arabber Stable.
