Our spring graduation ceremonies will take place on Thursday, May 16.
Students: Attend the Universitywide Commencement and you'll join the Dean's Alumni Circle! Following the ceremony, you'll:
- Receive your diploma
- Take a commemorative photo with Dean Kirschling
- Earn a special Dean’s Alumni Circle cord that you can wear to UMSON’s Convocation later that afternoon.
Universitywide Commencement
(All summer '18, fall '18, and spring '19 graduates)
9-11 a.m.
Royal Farms Arena, 201 W. Baltimore St., Baltimore, MD
- 7:30 a.m.: Doors open
- 8 a.m.: Graduates arrive in regalia and hoods
- 8:30 a.m.: Faculty arrive
- 9 a.m.: Ceremony begins
PhD students must attend commencement to receive doctoral hoods.
Party in the Park
11 a.m.
Plaza Park, Baltimore and Greene streets
All graduates and their families and guests are welcome to attend.
University of Maryland School of Nursing Convocation
(Spring ’19 graduates ONLY)
1:30- 4 p.m.
Royal Farms Arena, 201 W. Baltimore St., Baltimore, MD
- 12:15 p.m.: Doors open; graduates and faculty arrive
- 1:15 p.m.: Procession begins
- 1:30 p.m.: Ceremony begins
