UMB’s Staff Senate and Office of Community Engagement are hosting a Thanksgiving food drive to benefit CURE Scholar and Police Athletic/Activities League families of West Baltimore.

Departments or individuals can sponsor a family by collecting the items below to fill a Thanksgiving food basket.

To fill a basket, each non-perishable donation should include:

  • 2 boxes of stuffing
  • 2 cans of cranberries
  • 2 boxes of mashed potatoes
  • 2 cans sweet potatoes
  • 2 cans of gravy
  • 4 cans of vegetables (corn, peas, green beans, etc.)

Collection Dropoff

Through Wednesday, Nov. 20

Donations can be placed in collection bins located in the UMB building lobbies. Please contact Jill Hamilton of the Staff Senate at jill.hamilton@rx.umaryland.edu for a list of locations.

A campuswide pick-up of donations will take place on Thursday, Nov. 21.
