Did you know that Blackboard, one of the education technology platforms used by UMB faculty for online teaching, has a feature called Retention Center? By using Blackboard Retention Center, faculty can work to identify and notify students who may be at risk of failure or a low grade in a course. The rules for identifying students can be easily modified to suit your teaching methodologies.
