The Children's Cabinet Early Childhood Workgroup, along with Baltimore City’s Early Childhood Advisory Council and the University of Maryland School of Social Work, is hosting a town hall, “Who's Watching Our Kids? Prioritizing early childhood during COVID-19 and beyond."
Hear from community members, two parents, and one child care provider about how they navigated early childhood systems during the pandemic. Additionally, the Maryland Family Network will provide information on resources available for families with young children. We will have a special Sesame Street guest, giveaways for families, and storytime for those who attend the town hall with children.
Early childhood is a pivotal time that has lifelong effects on a child’s life. We welcome local officials, parents, child care providers, and community members to hear our panelists share their challenges and successes. Together we’ll learn how we, as a community, can address the needs and opportunities for Baltimore’s youngest citizens!
