Two UMSON representatives, Jane M. Kirschling, PhD, RN, FAAN, dean and professor, and Lori Edwards, DrPH, BSN, RN, CNS-PCH, BC, assistant professor, have been appointed to the UMB President's Council on Women. The council includes 38 members, women and men from across the University, and was created in 2019 with the purpose of advising the president on matters of gender equity and other issues affecting women at UMB.
