The following holidays are recognized by the University of Maryland, Baltimore for closure:

- Presidents Day
- Memorial Day
- Juneteenth
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- American Indian Heritage Day
- Christmas Day
If a holiday falls on a weekend, the holiday is observed based on the guidance provided by the state of Maryland.
The Penn, Saratoga, and Pearl Street garages are closed on holidays. All parkers assigned to a closed garage location may park in any open UMB garage location.
The Baltimore Grand, Lexington, Plaza, and Pratt Street garages are open with normal operations.
