The UMSON Ultimate Mileage Battle team only has 17 members for the campus-wide step contest. We need you to help us beat UMSOM, which already has 79 steppers signed up.
The contest runs Oct. 14-Nov. 27, and the team with the highest daily average wins bragging rights and the traveling trophy for a year. A kickoff event will be held Oct. 14 on the UMSON lawn, and team members will walk a mile with President Perman; Lexi, the K-9 comfort dog; and walkers from teams across campus from noon to 1 p.m.
Show your team spirit that day by wearing your UMSON swag, such as your ball cap or T-shirt. A UMSON team photo will be taken at 11:45 a.m., and the first 20 UMSON team members will receive a UMSON T-shirt. The first 100 steppers who show up to walk on Oct. 14 (and did not already get an UMSON t-shirt) will get an Ultimate Mileage Battle T-shirt.
