Did you know that UMSON hosts a series of Quality Improvement (QI) Briefs on the Community section of Blackboard? These QI Briefs are used to expand the use of implementation science and quality improvement capacity among Doctor of Nursing Practice students and faculty.

Explore the QI Briefs for short five- to 15-minute summaries of QI methods, concepts, and tools based on a faculty needs assessment. Each QI Brief includes a UMSON faculty member who developed the content, PowerPoint slides, the script for each slide, and the related handouts. When you access QI Briefs, you are able to view the recorded presentations, the slides, the script that is written in the notes section of each slide, and the handouts.

QI Briefs are grouped into five categories:

• Concepts for a Solid Foundation
• Mobilizing, Assessing, and Planning 
• Implementing and Tracking 
• Sustainability and Spread
• Dissemination
