University to Hold Town Halls for Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer Finalists
January 20, 2021The University of Maryland, Baltimore invites all faculty, staff, students, and community partners to participate in finalist town halls for the newly created position of vice president and chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer.
These individual town halls will involve a presentation by each candidate on diversity, equity, and inclusion topics followed by an open-forum Q&A with each candidate. Participants will be asked to complete a candidate evaluation after each finalist's presentation.

The search committee is co-chaired by Jane M. Kirschling, PhdD, RN, FAAN, dean, University of Maryland School of Nursing, and Dawn M. Rhodes, MBA, chief business and finance officer and vice president.
