What Welcome Way Means to Me...

“As an architect, buildings are naturally very important to me. But especially when UMB chooses to transform an interesting, older but neglected architectural gem into a dynamic, restored facility for the surrounding community, this noble act of hope for a better civic future is cause for great celebration. Accordingly, it was a very easy decision for both my wife, a School of Nursing alumna, and I to want to be among UMB CEC Welcome Way donors.”

— Anthony Consoli, AIA, LEED AP, University Architect

When complete, the Welcome Way will serve as a permanent greeting to those who visit and benefit from the Community Engagement Center (CEC) each day. The campaign closes on April 15; bricks and pavers are still available and at 50 percent off.
