I chose to buy a brick so that the scholars could pick a slogan for it and get excited about the new space. I selected the additional option to donate a brick to a community member as a symbol of community inclusion, as this building will become a wellness hub for so many in West Baltimore.”

When complete, the UMB CEC’s Welcome Way will serve as a permanent greeting to those who visit and benefit from the CEC each day.
