Why I Got the COVID-19 Booster

Katerine Delgado, a student at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, received her COVID-19 booster vaccine during the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) booster day. She received the vaccine to protect students and faculty.
“We are back in school. I care for my classmates, I care for professors, and I just want to make sure I’m doing my part in keeping everybody and myself safe,” she said.
Vaccine and infectious disease experts say that getting a booster shot is the best way to prevent spread and serious illness.
