UMB Supports Your Well-Being with Numerous Resources
October 18, 2023 Patricia HoffmannIf you need to speak to a mental health professional, UMB Guidance Resources can connect you with a counselor.
UMB Guidance Resources — Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)
These are difficult times for many people, especially those struggling with personal problems or mental health issues. UMB Guidance Resources offers employees the opportunity to find a variety of resources designed to help make life easier. If you need to speak to a mental health professional, UMB Guidance Resources can connect you with a counselor who offers in person, telephone, or online appointments.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for mental health counseling has soared making it more difficult to find a counselor who meets your needs who has readily available appointments. Please know that UMB and ComPsych are working together on a solution to provide a higher level of service to individuals who reach out for counseling.
We now also carry with us the sorrows and fears associated with the recent events in the Middle East. UMB Guidance Resources has provided the following webinars that may be of interest to you and help you cope with this distressing situation:
