In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, historical collections highlights Club Latino-Americano in its latest blog post. The organization was created for early Latin American students at the University of Maryland. The organization was founded in 1867 and remained active until the 1920s, supporting early students from Latin and South America. The organization offered social engagements and recruited new Latin American students to the school
