The Human Resources Management System (HRMS) homepage will feature tiled icons but will be labeled the same, and the functionality is not changing.
The University of Maryland, Baltimore's (UMB) Center for Information Technology Services is rolling out a new look for the eUMB Human Resources Management System homepage.
Instead of a classic menu-based navigation, the homepage will feature a modern, fluid, tile-based user interface. Users will find tiles on their homepage labeled similarly to the menus they use today, including UMB Self Service, UMB Self Service Manager, Time/Leave Administration, and Travel Administration. While the navigation will look different, the application pages and application functionality are not changing. Features such as worklists and favorites will continue to be readily available for quick navigation.
This new user-friendly and intuitive interface is part of an effort to modernize our Human Resource Services applications. You can expect to see this rolled out to the campus June 21. Additional information and resources can be found here.
