Unsure About COVID-19 Vaccines? Submit Your Questions Here
February 02, 2021 Office of Communications and Public AffairsAs part of UMB's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we want to know how we can help answer questions or provide a better understanding of the COVID-19 vaccines.
Now that initial COVID-19 vaccines have received emergency use authorization from the Food and Drug Administration, what does this mean to you?
We recognize that not everyone understands medical jargon used in announcements. You could be hesitant or even suspicious about COVID-19 vaccines based on rumors. Or you could be a member of a disenfranchised population here in the United States or from another country, where certain vaccines may not have been equitably tested or distributed in the past.
As part of the University of Maryland, Baltimore’s (UMB) commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we want to know what’s on your mind and how we can help answer questions or provide a better understanding of the COVID-19 vaccines, how they work, the approval process, their availability, and options for the surrounding community and our student and employee populations when it comes to being vaccinated.
Your comments and questions will help influence future communications from UMB about COVID-19 vaccines.
You can access the form to submit a question here.
