On or about April 6, faculty, staff, affiliates, and postdocs will be charged a fee of $1.75 per ride (one way) to use the UM shuttle.
The UM shuttle, which provides the University community with a number of bus routes, has primarily been funded by the student transportation fee. Due to the increase in the number of faculty, staff, affiliates, and postdocs using the shuttle, UMB will be moving toward charging a fee to this group of riders.
On or about April 6, faculty, staff, affiliates, and postdocs will be charged a fee of $1.75 per ride (one way) to use the UM shuttle. Riders will need to pre-load their UMB One Cards with funds either online or at a campus kiosk before boarding the shuttle. Drivers will not be equipped to accept cash at ANY time.
