What Is Mini-Med School?

Mini-Med School is an exclusive opportunity to learn from University of Maryland physicians and researchers about health issues that are important to everyone. The program provides a unique opportunity to raise the public’s awareness of biomedical research, the processes involved in science, and the importance of research to modern society.

Mini-Med School for Kids
This year will be the 12th year that the University of Maryland School of Medicine will host its annual Mini-Med School for Kids program. Mini-Med School for Kids brings medicine, science, and the importance of health to children in an interactive and exciting way!
Seniors Medical Symposium
The University of Maryland School of Medicine in partnership with the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) provides a six-week seminar at the CCBC Extension Center in Owings Mills. The Seniors Medical Symposium is geared toward adult seniors who are interested in the latest advances in medicine and science.
Mini-Med School
More than 400 Baltimore-area residents annually attend Mini-Med School. Presented by faculty physicians, Mini-Med School lectures are designed to be casual, fun, and informative while focusing on health care issues that are important to everyone.
