Faculty member honored by Nurse Practitioner as Author of the Year
Bimbola Akintade, PhD '11, MS '05, MBA, MHA, BSN '03, ACNP-BC, NEA-BC, FAANP, associate professor and associate dean for the Master of Science in Nursing Program, was recognized by Nurse Practitioner with its 2022 Author of the Year award. Akintade was honored as a co-author, alongside colleagues, for the article COVID-19 pneumonia: What APRNs should know. The award was presented during Nurse Practitioner's virtual conference on April 26.
