Lisa Rawlings named President of Maryland Association for Adult Community and Continuing Education (MAACCE)
Lisa Rawlings, UMB's Director of Workforce Development, was recently named President of the Maryland Association for Adult, Community and Continuing Education (MAACCE), a nonprofit organization providing leadership in Maryland for those interested in advancing education as a lifelong process. MAACCE provides a central forum for a wide variety of adult, community and continuing education groups. MAACCE encourages organizations and agencies in Maryland to cooperate in a broad spectrum of educational programs and activities in support of the lifelong learning concept.
Lisa's commitment to workforce development and adult education has continued to be an intregral part of UMB's committment to supporting our neighbors. This massive accomplishment will only allow her to further serve the Baltimore community and expand her role as a leader in the field.
