Bridgitte Gourley, DNP '08, FNP-BC, assistant professor and director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Family Nurse Practitioner specialty, is the first author on an article, "Moving Toward Equity and Transparency in NP Faculty Workload: It's More Than Just Credits," that was published as a featured Early Access article (accepted papers prior to issue publication) on the Nurse Educator website; the article will be published in the journal at a future date.

Gourley's co-authors are Shannon Idzik, DNP '10, MS '03, CRNP, FAANP, FAAN, associate professor and associate dean for the DNP program; Charles Yingling, DNP, RN; Mary Beth Bigley, DrPH, RN; and Beth Ammerman, DNP, RN.
