Assistant professor to present at the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists 2024 Annual Conference.

Cory Stephens, DNP, MSN, RN, NI-BC, CPHIMS, FHIMSS, assistant professor, will be presenting "Dynamic Duo: The Clinical Nurse Specialist and the Informatics Nurse Specialist Creating a High Reliability Organization" with Gena Bergvall, DNP '18, RN, AGACNP-BC, AGCNS-BC, ACCNS-AG, CCRN, CNRN, at the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists 2024 Annual Conference in New Orleans in March. Building on the work of adjunct faculty member Cynthia Russell, DNP '21, RN, NI-BC, EBP-C, in her project "Zero Harm: Clinical Nurse Specialist and Informatics Nurse Specialist Synergy," the presentation will describe how a partnership between a clinical nurse specialist and an informatics nurse specialist can offer many benefits to the health care sector.
