UMSON faculty members, retired faculty participate in “Nursing Ground Rounds.”


Eun-Shim Nahm, PhD ’03, RN, FAAN, FGSA, professor and associate dean for the PhD program;  Mary Etta Mills, ScD, MS ’73, BSN ’71, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, a retired professor; and Kristin L. Seidl, PhD, RN, assistant professor, presented during a virtual “Nursing Ground Rounds” March 22 as part of the Nurse Support Program II grant-funded project, the UMNursing Care Coordination Implementation Collaborative.

The project provides University of Maryland Medical Center nurses with free continuing education credits through online learning opportunities about how to improve care coordination and patient-centered care throughout the care continuum. Presenters briefly explained the project; online learning modules, including the content and accessibility; and its implication to practice.
