Laura W. Koo, PhD, MS, BSN, CRNP, FNP-BC, assistant professor, is the first author on an article, “Parental Health Literacy, Empowerment, and Advocacy for Food Allergy Safety in School: A Cross-sectional Study,” that was published Sept. 9 in the journal HLRP: Health Literacy Research and Practice.
Koo’s co-authors were faculty members at the University of Maryland School of Public Health.
