PhD student accepted to AMDA 2023 Future Program, approved for poster presentation at conference


Sorah Levy, PhD student, has been accepted to the 2023 Future Program offered by AMDA: The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. Applicants for this program undergo a very competitive selection process, and acceptance to the program demonstrates Levy’s excellence and potential as a scholar and leader in the field. The program exposes practitioners to the numerous career opportunities available in post-acute and long-term care (PALTC) medicine. Participants receive registration to AMDA’s annual conference; membership to Futures Connect, a year-round online program that provides resources and interaction with PALTC leaders; and one-year membership to AMDA-The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine.

Also, Levy's abstract "Examining Relationships Between Nursing Home Facility Factors, Pain, and Race," has been accepted for poster presentation at the 2023 Post-Acute and Long Term Care Annual Conference in Tampa, Florida, March 9 - 12.
