The work of Ahmad Ozair, MD, MPH, a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, was presented as a postdoc competition winner at the annual Katharine A. Welsh Symposium held Oct. 23 and 24. The theme of this year's symposium was "R3eforming Graduate Science Education."

The event is organized every year by the R³ Center for Innovation in Science Education, Johns Hopkins University. R³ stands for Rigor, Reproducibility, and Responsibility.
