Ashley Davis, APRN, CARN-AP, AAHIVS, FNP-C, a student in UMSON's DNP Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specialty, has been awarded the 2024 - 25 Johnson & Johnson Edwidge Thomas Health Equity Scholarship from Nurses Educational Funds Inc. (NEF).
The nonprofit organization established in 1912 by nurses for nurses promotes leadership and health equity through scholarship support for professional nurses seeking master’s and doctoral degrees in nursing education, practice, service, and research.
Davis was one of 22 students awarded NEF scholarships from across the United States, selected for their exemplary academic, clinical practice, research, and professional accomplishments.
