On Dec. 9, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) released the 2025 Standards of Care, which are widely utilized in the United States and throughout the world. Barbara Resnick, PhD ’96, RN, CRNP, FAAN, FAANP, professor, Sonya Ziporkin Gershowitz Chair in Gerontology, and associate dean for research, led Section 13 on Older Adults, working alongside dedicated members of the Professional Practice Committee, subject matter experts, and the ADA scientific team.
A convenient Standards of Care app, available for iOS and Android systems, offers the latest guidelines with interactive tables and algorithms for easy reference.
For primary care providers, the Abridged Standards of Care, developed by the ADA’s Primary Care Advisory Group, is planned for release in spring 2025 in Clinical Diabetes®.
