Kimberly L. Fullerton, a legal research fellow with the Agricultural Legal Education Initiative, University of Maryland Francis King Carey Law, who teaches an environmental law seminar on Animals and the Law as an adjunct professor, recently had her research featured in this story published in USA Today. The research project, which she contributed to prior to joining Maryland Carey Law, examined zoonotic disease transmission on a global scale and was led by the Brooks McCormick Jr. Animal Law & Policy Program at Harvard Law School and the Center for Animal and the Environmental Protection at New York University.
