Postdoctoral fellow accepted to R25 Dementia Palliative Care Clinical Trials Training Program.
Rachel McPherson, PhD, was accepted to the Dementia Palliative Care Clinical Trials Training Program sponsored by the Center for Aging and Serious Illness at Massachusetts General Hospital. It is a 10-month training program for early- to mid-career researchers and health professionals to develop competence in the planning, design, and execution of randomized clinical trials in persons with Alzheimer’s Disease or Related Dementias (ADRD). McPherson will use this program to assist in development of a grant to test an intervention to improve care interactions and pain management among nursing home residents with dementia.
