PhD student named Council on Social Work Education Fellow.
David Robertson, a PhD student at the School of Social Work, was selected through a competitive process to join the 2025-2026 cohort of the Council on Social Work Education's Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) for doctoral students.
MFP fellows are future leaders in social work practice, policy promulgation, research, and education who are committed to serving underrepresented and underserved persons with or at risk for mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.
David joins a very prestigious group of MFP former fellows; Dr. Theda Rose and recent PhD graduate, Dr. Vashti Adams in achieving this honor.
