Dr. Jodi Frey, Professor & Associate Dean for Research and site-PI for the CDC-funded Preventing Suicide in Michigan Men (PRiSMM) grant was interviewed by Spartan New Room about the work she, her colleagues, and community partners are doing together to prevent suicide throughout the state of Michigan. Her work with key partner, Grit Digital Health (creator of www.ManTherapy.org) has led to successful mental health and suicide screening of thousands of men and study results support reductions in depression and suicidal ideation over time, in addition to improved help-seeking intentions and behavior.
