Dr. Jodi Frey presents on suicide prevention in the pharma industry.
Dr. Jodi Frey, Professor and Associate Dean for Research at UMSSW presented on a panel, titled "Speaking about the Unspoken: Workplace Suicide Risk Reduction" for a webinar presented to the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists. She presented research about risks and protective factors for suicide among the pharma industry and introduced ways in which managers and leaders can work to prevent suicide and improve psychological safety at work.
Her work as Co-Chair of the National Committee for Workplace Suicide Prevention and Postvention was featured as the panel introduced the National Guidelines for Workplace Suicide Prevention as part of the presentation. Co-presenters included David Otey, National Speaker and Author (Panel Chair and Moderator) and Mark DeFee, Life Coach and Speaker (panelist).
