Associate professor publishes article in the journal Substance Use & Misuse.


Kristen Rawlett, PhD '14, FNP-BC, FAANP, CNE, associate professor, co-authored an article, "Experiences of Women Prescribed Methadone," in the journal Substance Use & Misuse. The research was funded by the University of Maryland Center for Addiction Research, Education, and Service (CARES), which established a Science to Systems pilot grant program. The research highlights the voices and experiences of women in methadone treatment, a special population that is often dismissed by providers and their communities.
