Krysten Garcia, MPH joined Lauren Schuyler, PhD for two 75-minute panels at the National Association of Welfare Research and Statistics's 2025 biennial conference on August 4, 2025.
The first session explored the findings and policy/program recommendations stemming from a legislatively mandated, two-year evaluation of Maryland's cash welfare program. The second session explored additional findings from this study through the lens of trauma-infromed care (TIC), highlighting the role of TIC in cash welfare programs.
