Clinical instructor awarded credential in age-friendly health care.
Melissa McClean, MSN, ANP-BC, NP-C, ACHPN, CNE, clinical instructor, was recognized by the Certification Board for Professionals in Patient Safety for helping to develop the Certified Professional in Age-Friendly Health Care (CPAFH) credential. In recognition of her efforts, she was grandfathered into the CPAFH credential. The CPAFH credential sets the standard for excellence in the care of older adults, informed by the evidence-based 4M's Framework: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility.
